It has come to my attention that I have not posted anything on my blog (that's just weird to type) lately - thanks Ronda Guillot - so I decided to update you all as the time gets closer for our trip. Our last team meeting was last Sunday night - we met at FBC PN to sort medicines for our trip. I always enjoy these get togethers because it gives me the chance to meet some of the other members of FBC PN who support us with prayer and help sort the medicines. They are a very important part of our team for sure!
I do have a couple of prayer requests to add to the ones previously posted.
1) For the three Summer Missionaries, Jourdan Edmonds, Penny Jo Nichols, and Jared Rogers that will be in Ayaviri for 7 weeks in June and July. Penny Jo Nichols will be representing FBCPN. Jared and Jourdan are from North End Baptist in Beaumont. Pray for the purity and the power of the Holy Spirit to be manifest in and through their lives. Pray that the living presence of Christ will be expressed through them. Pray for their adjustment these first few weeks and for developing relationships among the people.
2) Pray for Jourdan, Jared, Penny Jo and Dion Ainsworth (Golden Traingle Baptist Association) as they seek to determine a location for the medical/dental/vision clinic this week. We are hoping for a location (perhaps a school) in a neighborhood where there is openess to the Gospel and need for a church.

My prayers are with you and I know that your strong commitment to this mission brings a warm smile from God as he sees his plan being fulfilled. As we witnessed in January, souls are being saved and many seeds planted.
